Resource Matching

A DeckVault project whose purpose is to match complementary resources inside the ecosystem: who needs what, who already has it, and where a new project closes an open gap.

The selection rule

Self-sufficiency first

A project joins an ecosystem only when it closes a gap. Before approval we map, for every project already in the group, what it must take in and what it releases:

  • 01Inputs it must buy — materials, energy, components, data, services, competences.
  • 02Outputs it releases — products, heat, waste and by-products, data, spare capacity, know-how.
  • 03The gap left open — the resource the group still has to source from outside.

The candidate is then measured against that map. It is accepted when it supplies a resource another project needs, or consumes a by-product another project releases — ideally both. The aim is that each ecosystem covers its own needs as close to complete as possible: less dependence on outside suppliers, less waste, lower cost and lower risk for investors.

How a gap is matched

Needs on one side, resources on the other

Need

Recycled polymer feedstock

Released by

Sorted plastic fraction from a partner line

Need

Low-grade heat in winter

Released by

Excess heat from a data room

Need

Warehouse and logistics capacity

Released by

Spare capacity between shipments

Need

Back-office and reporting hours

Released by

A shared competence pool

Needs covered inside the ecosystemexample: 70%

This coverage ratio is measured and recorded for every ecosystem; the acceptance threshold is set by the admin per ecosystem.

Value barter

Barter exchange in the ecosystem

Inside the ecosystem, value is to circulate as barter: projects exchange services, components, capacity and know-how at an agreed value instead of paying cash for every transfer. Every exchange is entered in a shared ledger, so each partner can see the value it gives and the value it receives — and so a project that supplies a gap earns credit that lowers its own cost of growth.

The barter ledger and the exchange rules are currently being prepared. The first version will be announced to verified investors before any exchange is opened.
